Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to join our corporate accounting team and help keep our financial operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll support the month-end close process, prepare financial statements, and make sure our accounting records stay accurate and compliant with U.S. GAAP. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle key month-end close tasks to ensure a timely and accurate close process.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with supporting schedules.

  • Complete and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and other adjustments.

  • Ensure all work aligns with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal controls.

  • Support internal and external audits with schedules, documentation, and explanations.

  • Review and analyze financial results and variances, especially those tied to production, inventory, and cost-of-goods.

  • Assist with improving processes, enhancing controls, and finding ways to work smarter.

  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and FP&A to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or a mix of public accounting and industry.

  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

  • Comfortable working with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail.

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
