We're looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to join our corporate accounting team and help keep our financial operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll support the month-end close process, prepare financial statements, and make sure our accounting records stay accurate and compliant with U.S. GAAP. Handle key month-end close tasks to ensure a timely and accurate close process.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with supporting schedules.
Complete and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and other adjustments.
Ensure all work aligns with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal controls.
Support internal and external audits with schedules, documentation, and explanations.
Review and analyze financial results and variances, especially those tied to production, inventory, and cost-of-goods.
Assist with improving processes, enhancing controls, and finding ways to work smarter.
Partner with operations, supply chain, and FP&A to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or a mix of public accounting and industry.
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Comfortable working with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
